Roof Repairs at St Augustine's

This week a new fundraising initiative has been started in the form of a JustGiving Page which can be found here. It has been started by Queenie Sukhoe, and she has undertaken to cut off her hair for the fundraising effort. After only a few hours over £120 has been raised.

Thank you so much to Sir Harold Hood’s Charitable Trust for donating £2,000.00 to our Church Roof Fundraising Appeal. This will help us enormously in our efforts to repair the Church Roof. We are truly grateful.

We have been very blessed to receive a cheque in the sum of £5,000 from the Benefact Trust in response to our application.  This will be used towards the very necessary roof repairs which will cost more than £50,000.We are extremely grateful to the Benefact Trust for their generosity to our Parish.
